Little known fact: NBA superstar Kevin Garnett in a huge soccer fan, and a huge Chelsea FC fan! With that in mind, Kevin Garnett and Addidas (sponsor) came together and to release a Chelsea themed basketball shoe. The shoe is the TS Commander LT, and its coloured with the Chelsea blue with yellow accents and the famous team crest on the tongue.
Shoe's are set to release nationwide on November 1st, but Boston retailer Bodega had some strings pulled, and releasing it at the end of the month with a CFC team scarf (w/ the store's name on the underside) and the new home 2009 kit with Garnett's name and number. Price is $250.
It's nice to see the mix of sports with athletes and their sponsors. Good Show.
